The pavilion is iron and glass and stands in the Jardines de la Victoria on the western edge of the old city. It was restored and reopened as a gastro market — stalls around the edge, shared tables down the middle.
⭐ Entry is free and you are not obliged to buy anything, which makes it a reasonable place to get out of the heat for twenty minutes.
It is modern, busy and not historic in the way the rest of this list is. It earns its place because it is where you can eat a range of Andalusian food in one stop without booking.
Our tip
Good in the heat of the afternoon, when the old city is unpleasant and this is shaded.
